Born out of a love for sewing and interiors, I started as 'Sew Susanna' in 2007 - a small home-based business offering soft furnishings and alterations. Over the years my business has grown. I left my home workroom for a small first premises in 2021 and moved to my current combined showroom and workroom in 2023 where the business continues to thrive. I incorporated in 2024, becoming Susanna Blinds and Curtains Ltd.

 

​I now work with a team of skilled professional makers both in my Chesham space and carefully selected offsite workrooms, allowing me to help more customers, more quickly, whilst maintaining my high quality standards. I have also partnered with an array of UK based suppliers of curtains poles, tracks and all styles of roller, venetian and pleated blinds. My professional fitting team allows me to offer a complete end-to-end service.

 

My mission is simple; to be the Chilterns' go-to business for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. ​I absolutely love working with my customers to find the best solutions for their homes. I treat every project with personal care and attention whether altering a single pair of curtains or helping to refurbish your whole house.
